    Fascinating, you have Palermo at #3 . . . Without Toni I
don't think they could manage it.

I have a VERY firm faith in Caracciolo + Makinwa/Pepe on the attack.

As long as Corini and Brienza keep the passes on track, I think they can score 2-3 a game with anyone. Add in Barz + Zaccardo to lead what was (until last spring) a pretty tight D.

Granted, Inter made ALOT of moves. A huge influx of talent. I just see that this is really the same team minus Guidolin, Zauli, and Toni. I think Del Neri still has enough of a core that once Makinwa and Caracciolo get comfy, they will pretty scary. I expect ALOT out of Palermo this season. (Like say... UEFA Cup semi-finalists?)

CL? If Roma make the Intertoto, they should take it as a huge result for the year...

Putting aside my love for Roma, they have a squad--
and coach--that is very competitive. If they hold on
to Chivu, Mancini, and Cassano, or two of those
three, they should be in the top 10 without problem.

Amazing how much difference a season makes - First Roma one were one of "the big four" now some people think they won't even make the top then.

    Anywho:
    1. AC Milan
    2. Internazionale di Milan
    3. Juventus
    4. Fiorentina
    5. Roma
    6. Palermo
    7. Sampdoria
    8. Leece
    9. Udinese
    10. Cagiliari

Wow, a lot of people think Fiorentina will qualify for the CL. They've made vast improvements, but I don't think they'll finish as high as 4th.

    1. Milan
    2. Inter
    3. Giuve
    4. Roma
    5. Palermo
    6. Sampdoria
    7. Udinese
    8. Fiorentina
    9. Messina
    10. Cagliari

    Parma, Italy
    1. Inter-- Mancini has brought them a team concept, finally
    2. Juve-- never count them out
    3. Milan-- their strike force may face injury problems
    4. Roma-- Totti will thrive under Spalletti
    5. Fiorentina-- a powerhouse is being built here
    6. Udinese-- Serse Cosmi rules
    7. Parma-- we'll surprise with our talented youth plus Corradi
    8. Palermo-- they struggled late last year
    9. Samp-- don't think they can repeat an outstanding 04-05
    10. Lazio-- another mid-table season

I probably LIKE your list the best but I don't think that my beloved Viola have the midfield to finish 4th and if Parma finishes 7th I'll eat my hat. My list would be...

    1) Juventus (sadly)
    2) Milan
    3) Inter
    4) Roma
    5) Udinese
    6) Palermo
    7) Fiorentina
    8) Sampdoria
    9) Lazio
    10) Cagliari

I'll send you a little parmigiano-reggiano to sprinkle on top. :D

If I promise to eat my hat too, can you also send me some parmigiano reggiano? :D

Not that I care either way where Parma finish....I just want some of the real stuff. ;)

Excuse the off topic food talk, but I have to point this out... A local ravioli-type pasta is called capeletti, translation 'the little hats.' And yeah you have to smother the stuff with parmigiano- reggiano.
