Question Best lineup for Feyenoord?

Yeah, I'm thinking 3 games ahead.

Given the likely availability (assuming O'Brien is available while Bramble is not), I think our best would be:

Harper
Griffin Dabizas O'Brien Hughes
Solano Speed Jenas Dyer
Shearer Robert

Put me in the camp that would prefer Robert over LuaLua or Ameobi. At least we won't have to worry about Frenchy's lack of defense.

Of course I may be putting the cart waaaay before the horse here, lord knows what'll happen in the next two games.

My, how things change in a day.

With Robert now out for upwards of a month, it certainly looks like the stage is set for Viana to make a case for stardom.

Still putting the cart before the horse, I'll say:

Harper
Griffin Dabizas O'Brien Hughes
Solano Speed Jenas Viana
Shearer Dyer

Let Dyer give us his Bellamy impression against Feyenoord and roam a bit free to wreak some havoc. Based on what he did against a nearly full-strength Everton squad, the lad can make a great case for being a dependable finisher at the moment. At the very least he's got the confidence.

Anything is possible...hey, I believe even Cort saw time against the Toffees, put him up against the Dutch.

Default Best lineup for Feyenoord?

THis is going to be a tough one - any winner will be guaranteed at least a UEFA cup place ( 3rd spot - if my maths are correct ) - which means that there is something to play for............

As long as Shearer, Speed . Griffin & maybe even Dabizas are present , we should be able to show some strength. I dont think the gallic skills of Robert ( not there anyway according to the press) will be needed- this will be a real grim match & maybe a few yellow cards will be shown......

see you all there......

This would be my prefered selection for the Feyenoord game presuming Bellamy is avialable (ive heard its tru from somewhere) ive gone for bernard on the left as hes a natural left footer and viana doesant look comfortable there. ive also went for jenas over speed as he was excellent against kiev and harper in goal.

Harper

Griffin O'Brien Dabizas Hughes

Solano Dyer Jenas Bernard

Bellamy Shearer
