Li Tie
Anyone think he's gonna be the " buy" of the season?
Every game I've seen him in, he's played excellent. I think it's becoz of him that we have had a hell of a lot of fluant football throught the midfield. So far I think he's a complete midfielder.
I thought at first, "Le Tie? who the fks he?" But he's really surprised me.
What do anyone else feel? Yobo has been excellent to. (So has everyone) But Yobo is definetely our best defender so far this season. Been impressed with Radzinski too.
I've just been reading on the internet that Li Tie was once banned in the Chineese league for headbutting an opponent. He had a worser record than Alan Smith of getting sent off too. You wouldn't think so by looking at him.

Is it pretty much a given that Li Tie will be going back to China at the end of this season, or did the clubs indicate that he might possibly stay at Everton for the long haul if the Chinese are appropriately compensated?

Li Tie was supposed to be part of the sponsor agreement. But they sent us Li Wiefeng instead. Everton were going to buy Li Tie for £1,000,000 but then changed their mind and got him on loan for a season and then pay the money if he's good.
But I've heard lots of stories, saying we've actually bought him and others saying he's part of the sponsorship deal with Kiejian.

Li Tie
Both Li's are part of the sponcership deal. Yes Everton were intrested in purchasing him but lucked out with the sponcership thing. I think they do have an option on Li Tie at the end of the season where they can require his services.
When I first saw him in the starting line up I thought that it was due to the sponcership and they had to but now I can see what Moyes saw in him, Yobo, and even Wright. Maybe that why he is the best manager in the Prem.
