I purposely started this thread to just say, Alan Smith has been red carded again. To yellow cards for tackles and he was sent off in the 77th minute.

Middlesbrough score 7 minutes after Smith is sent off. Game ends in a 2-2 tie.

Bridges subbed Viduka in the 82nd minute.

That's all I have to say about this team.

How many reds is that for Smith?

Seems a common occurence and he has had a couple of years under his belt by now. He should know better.

I was at the match and have had the benifit of seeing it replayed a few times.... Smith's red card was a complete joke. The paper has said that, Venables said it, The ITV Premiership show said it. Hell, i've said it too.

Styles is up there with D'Urso for worst ref in the premiership.

Started off well with the penalty, and shoddy defending allowed boro the equilizer.

Viduka put Kewell through with a delightful ball which he shot.... The keeper saved but the ball fell to Bowyer who had the easiest of goals.

After this happened it seemed like we had an extra man on the pitch. There was always a player open and it looked like we were going to score another goal or two. Middlesbrough were completely out of the game being down 2-1. Then that twat Styles decides he wants to send Smith off, even over the protest of Gareth Southgate, who the "cardable offence"/joke was on.

The 2'nd equilizer also came from bad defending on a corner.

I'm just not too pleased.

3 games, 1 week coming up for Leeds

H 31 Hapoel Tel-Aviv

H 3 Everton

A 6 Sheffield United

I think they go all out in their first 2 games, then start some reserves for the Worthington Cup match against Sheffield United.
