It looks like Brasil will care about this particular Confederations cup since they are planning to bring their A squad with the exception of Roberto Carlos, Cafu, and Ricardinho.
Brasil's call ups for this cup :
Goleiros
Dida (Milan)
Marcos Palmeiras)
Gomes (PSV Eindhoven)
Zagueiros
Juan (Bayer Leverkusen)
Lúcio (Bayern de Munique)
Luisão (Benfica)
Roque Júnior (Bayer Leverkusen)
Laterais
Cicinho (São Paulo)
Belletti (Barcelona)
Leo (Santos)
Gilberto (Hertha Berlin)
Meio-campo
Emerson (Juventus)
Gilberto Silva (Arsenal)
Zé Roberto (Bayern de Munique)
Juninho Pernambucano (Lyon)
Renato (Sevilha)
Kaká (Milan)
Ronaldinho Gaúcho (Barcelona)
Alex (Fenerbahçe)
Atacantes
Ronaldo (Real Madrid)
Adriano (Internazionale)
Robinho (Santos)
Ricardo Oliveira (Bétis)
Mexico will also take their A team, Hopefully the rest of the countries participating will do the same. Should be a fun tournament to watch. May the best team win.

Re: Who Will Win the Confederations Cup?
i think Germany is gonna win this cup , they have no WCQ matches to worry about, and they're playing at home.

Re: Who Will Win the Confederations Cup?
Well thats your opinion and mine is that Argentina will win their group and it will be tough for Mexico to compete with Greece and Brazil espeacially, but were confident and well focused phyisically and mentally not to fall again to Brazil like we did in Copa America Peru 2004!

Re: Who Will Win the Confederations Cup?
I think it comes down to Brazil, Argentina and Germany, the classy teams of this tournament.
Brazil has all the firepower to win it. Based on their roster, they should win all their group games by 5-0 and beat Argentina 2-0 in the semis and Germany 2-1 in the final (home side's gotta score at least once).
Argentina, well, I haven't seen their team but I don't think they like to lose to Brazil in any tournament so you know they'll be fired up. Germany has to be considered a favorite since it's in Germany and they are taking it very seriously since it's their only competitive games until the world cup.
I picked Brazil. I think a Brazil-Germany final would be awesome. Some revenge for the Germans for japorea.
