Default What does Vergara think?

I was thinking of all the things that Vergara said before the league started, now I'm wondering what he's thinking now that his team is in this kind of situation. Has he said anything to the press about this?

Vergara is a genius. Chivas USA is strugglin now but you just wait till Chivas starts dominating the league in the coming seasons. Then most mls fans will have to eat their words and become believers.

Update: Chivas out of the playoffs in the weakest conference in MLS, even their heavy hitters from Mexico couldn't save the Goats!

I think that when Chivas get more recruits from Mexico, and their players settle down wherever they are living, that Chivas could indeed be a force in MLS.

Anyone can import a club of Central ,South America or Mexican nationals, for that matter! That however does not mean they will even succeed in the MLS. I mean the whole world looks down upn MLS however, its not an easy league & I'm sure Vergara can see that now!
I mean I wonder if most Latin players could even adapt to playing in the MLS? Luis Hernandez was a good example. He didn't exactly set the world on fire when he played with the Galaxy if anything becuase of his signing and/or flop ,Don Garber refuses to sign any more stars!
Its the same way with most MLS players. Does anyone really think that the majority of the white American players would even ever start in the Mexican league or South America, for that matter?
I think a lot of it has to do with field conditions travel atmosphere and of course the language...
The thing is or what I want to know is, wasn't the inital concept supposed to be using hispanic American home grown players?
I mean supposedly, by MLS rules , you are supposed to play only 4-5 foreign players. The top hispanic players are already starting for their respective MLS clubs therefore, can this league sustain or produce more QUALITY HISPANIC AMERICAN PLAYERS, or will they just keep importing more foreign players ala the NASL?

They should stop signing mexican players. if they sign big time mexican players: the chivas mexico fans will get piss for not being their team. Vergara should players playing mexican that aren't mexicans, mexicans know these players and follow these players. like Delgado from Cruz Azul would perfect buddy on top with Ante. Mosquera would be perfect with Claudio. they won't lose the mexican fan and get south american fans too. the team becomes "hispanic" icon.

Also, the team just needs 4 top hispanic players. Guevara & Suarez are ready filled part of quota. and Mendoza should stay for a bit more, too bad he's in MLS, because he good enough mexican national team.

hell, it took a total revamp to make his "hispanic side" largely american to even get them to compete. I'm book marking your post in my collection of alltime stupidest comments. in 10 years you'll still be saying : just wait....."
vergara is an idiot with a big wallet, big ego, small brain and an even smaller penis. Chivas Mexico is mediocre, chivas usa is shit and a ********ing joke and will continue to get owned as long as Vergara continue to make bold claims and weak follow through. he thought MLS would be a joke and he got his ass handed to him. he's less than 100% commited and it shows in the product. Chivas usa is just a cheap marketing ploy to extend his mexican brand.
