You cant Fire Peter for that. I wasnt happy with the move of getting rid of Razov but man oh man Peter Wilt has mattered more to this franchise that anyone except maybe Peter Nowak.
I'm joining you guys on the shocked bandwagon. WTF? I've been fortunate to meet Peter a few times as he's stopped by the Riders tailgates up here in NE. Great guy, very classy (he even stopped by after the Revs/Fire winner makes the playoffs match last year), and we all have appreciated what he's done for you guys. This is terrible news.

Wow. MLS or Anshutz (whoever) shouldn't be doing this. Peter seemed to be one of the best all time GMs in the league.... Is there any place he could be going? Is this a move by him? (I know it is doubtful.... but just asking).

Wait wait. Maybe this is Peter wanting to just end the last year of his reign on a high note. Peter has mentioned a few times that he would go work in US Soccer as a next step in his career. Maybe this was a decision of Peters all long. Either way I am sad. I am personally going to miss Peter as a GM and more importantly a friend. He was a friend. Heck I have seen Peter work his magic back in the 90s all the way through today. This just sucks. This guy desreves to go out on a high note and I truly truly hope in my heart it was his decision and not someone elses. Frankie
Yeah, there's got to be more to the story than this. He's struck me as nothing but a stand-up guy when I got to chat with him for a bit when visting Soldier Field for one of United's visits. Very puzzling, this.

The only was this is a good thing for MLS is if the news tomorrow is that it's really a trade to Metros and he's replacing Nick S. This Guppy guy gets his brother in the league and now a GM spot? Who does he have pictures of? Don't expect anymore GM's to actually answer questions from fans
