Well it looks like we have already identified one player in Argentina, and who could we be looking at at Stuttgart with Pardo? http://dailyherald.com/article/20111202/sports/712029776/
I don't know the Argentine league that well, but I was looking through the u20 squad of ecuador and this is the only 19 year midfielder from Ecuador in Argentina I could find. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Juan_Cazares
Good find on that, I looked and couldnt find anything on. The one name I found on Stuttgart that make sense is Cacau. He is older being 30 plays the position we are looking for and played with Pardo for 3 years anyone else have any guesses?
it's about time we've heard of other fire players possibly training abroad: "Leon said Nyarko and Marco Pappa could train at Atletico Madrid in January, another way the club hopes to take advantage of the partnership." i would have liked to see our HG's train though.
Trying to dig up some info on Cazares... Found this video on Youtube. Only two goals so can't tell much about him as a player, but they are both pretty disgusting. Again, not enough to make any judgements, but cool none the less. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-twxEtZf3_c&feature=related"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-twxEtZf3_c&feature=related[/ame]
The kid looks like he has some skills that is for sure. It might be worth making him a DP with the new rules. I do like seeing the Fire go after young talent I just hope they realize the position they and the league are in and are willing to sell these players when the time is right to bring more money into the club.
Reading the tea leaves, seems like the Ecuadorian press doesn't think Cazares has been given a fair shake at River Plate, with their head coach Almeyda only playing him in the reserves. Found a thread on BS that rates him pretty highly, not that it means anything: https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1613617 Played for Ecuador in all four games in this year's U20 WC as well... Young with upside like Barouch who we've just signed. I like this one, just hope he's more Barouch and less Nazarit.
He's got a lot of talent and is expected to become really good. I just hope he doesn't end up in Mexico or even worse, the MLS just for money. But I don't think it will happen because he knows his chances to be called up for the national team would be slim if he goes to the MLS... I hope he ends up going to Europe or to a top team of the Brasilian or Argentinian leage at least...
uhhh no offense but I'm pretty sure he'd be just fine making the Ecuadorian national team if he went to mexico or even *GASP* THE M ES L!!! As long as he's given time to develop here (and hopefully that's soon but no rush, rushing makes it worse) then he'll be just fine.
How does anyone feel about Crespo? I do not know what shape he is in or his recent performance. http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/s...considering-mls-and-middle-east-moves?cc=5901
