Not even looking at the clock. Transfers gets posted to FPL Forum, but when I go to actually make the move the gameweek is closed. Supposed to be OUT: Huth, IN: Ivanovic. What happens now? Lose any Huth points and get nothing for Ivanovic? Ignore the post. No harm No foul? Don't remember this happening.
I don't know about the above. I think it falls along the line of the move you wanted and posted and then the internet crashed which means you should have had the player. For now... But the Internet and/or FPL site crashing has never been an excuse (with I believe the sole exception being during week 2 of this season but don't get me started on that....), and I'm not even sure what Tarv is proposing as the solution. I don't recall it ever occurring, but I've been amazed/impressed by how late some have gotten in their moves over the years and always thought it quite risky, precisely because of what happened here and my thinking that the penalty would be the loss of both players' points if the transfer didn't make it through after posting in the forum. So, I would have thought we would deduct the Huth points and give no Ivanovic points - along the lines of my Foster/Ruddy blunder a week ago. BUT, I don't care if everyone wants to handle differently.
No problem. Huth was a "0," in more ways than one. I transfered in Ivanovic in gameweek 9 as I was afraid Huth would lose value. You have to imagine my shock when I go to transfer the player, immediately after making my forum post, and the game is UPDATING. I had no clue what time it was. I had read where Terry had missed practice and thought it meant Ivanovic was a sure starter so what the heck. Now I am stuck with this post and there is nothing I can do about it. Can't transfer. Can't post to the forum. Stuck. How stupid.
it's not on the g-doc yet, but my understanding is that Vegas did the trade (and his team shows him with 1 transfer this week) - so, no, Ivanovic is not available, but you're free to grab Huth if you want

The three players per team rule is the main reason Milner was still available today. I wanted to add him yesterday (he was close to highest player in Prem on a key calculated stat I use) but wanted Balotelli more and already had two MC players. I debated taking a penalty to drop Clichy and get Milner in but decided it wasn't worth it since it would have taken two extra trades to get enough cash. I can't see how Milner won't stay on the pitch now..for a few games at least.
