RE: Mr. Cappellieri
Just FYI to all the folks in this forum, all the stuff that went down with BC happened while I was gone. I'm just now getting back up to speed reading the back posts in the Mods forum, etc.
For what it's worth, I found BC's methods somewhat annoying but nothing that warranted red. On the general balance of things I found the news stuff that he provided to be a net positive to his somewhat immature manner and the Spam-like nature of the service.
I PM'ed him once and asked him, very politely to please consolidate his posts and to keep team-related posts in existing threads. He seemed to comply with this and I never really had anything to complain about since.
But the same was not true of other forums and mods. There was a debate in the Mods forum while I was away. While he had his defenders, the majority felt that what he was doing was just too over the top.
And that's that. Sorry lads.
