So he played badly and still played like that in front of the goal to score? That's good enough for me..! He's like that sometimes with NT as well like being out of form yet still manages to do something.

Believe me, Ignashevich's pass was much better. Both were great but that was literally p-e-r-f-e-c-t. It looks similar but in details... Delicious! Not to mention the level of the opponent. I mean when I watched Shinji's assist I was like "Great pass!" and when I saw THAT pass I was like "... (for few seconds asking myself: how come...) WHOA!" And now tell me that Keisuke wastes his time in CSKA and he's not progressing at all. I can't recall when was the last time I saw something as brillant as this one.

The polls on CSKA's website are a good indicator of what CSKA-supporters think of him. He is 2nd after Akineev currently for today's game.

Please just look through the previous discussions on the matter. It has been discussed to death. Pretty much each time Honda is seriously linked with a club it gets discussed again.

Sure, I'm not taking it seriously. I'm not thinking about it anymore. European football is so competitive, biased and politic. Just saw Wolsburg got a new midfielder who's not better than Hasebe. What's the use ? Are they going to waste him his whole career just because he doesn't have a status ? In the end I'm often pissed off.

Wolfsburgs new one is a left-sided midfielder. And of course, Magath is going to pull this kind of sh%t off, he must be looking to break records for most players signed, so this is kind of another thing than Honda rumors.
But on the business side generally I agree...

Yeah, Honda wouldn't take that kind of abuse, ie, the drama he made about his position on the team last year. But for all the good guys who come here to challenge themselves and help their teams, times are hard.

It's hard to answer because I don't know what you mean exactly. imo, times are better now for Japanese players in Europe than ever before... I wouldn't say they are abused or at least not more or less than players from South America.

Going to Europe is a thing but playing is another. Aki Ienaga never gets a chance to start two consecutive games even when he's good, Hasebe is an utility player, Otsu play with the reserve team, except for Honda, Kagawa and Nagatomo (and even for him, let's see if he's gonna break into the first team again) the others are spending their time on the bench.

Turkish papers are full of fantasy stories, looks like they are choosing a random player name, a random local club name and compile a transfer story, repeat until the sports page for this day is full.

The Honda-stories are just entertainment anyway.
However, it's not entirely fantasy, there might be some truth to their interest as they were looking to sign him when Honda was still in Venlo.

Wasn't Galatasaray the only club to have met CSKA's asking price during last winter's transfer window only for Honda to reject it? Or was that also just a rumor lol

Oh ok the today 1 I didn't know. 1 after WC yes I knew Arsenal midfielders leaving has been big news this week so I would've thought some wannabe journos would link him this week cuz it's so easy to make up any stories with Honda's situation but ok it's already happened lol.... oh how so simpleton of them.
