Re: Samsung Hauzen Cup 2005 [R]
After a veritable feast of goals in the opening round, and with Suwon and Busan blasting them in against Vietnamese opposition, the domestic clubs returned to 'business as usual' with a whopping THREE goals in tonight's five matches:
Gwangju 0-0 Cheonbuk (8,537)
Daejeon 0-1 Pohang (15,125)
P: Da Silva
Bucheon 0-0 Seongnam (1,521)
Incheon 1-0 Chunnam (2,894)
I: Hwang Yeon-seok
FC Seoul 0-1 Daegu (24,863)
D: Sandro Hiroshi
Table
Bucheon 4 (+1)
Ulsan 3 (+2)
Pohang 3 (+1)
Incheon 3 (+1)
Daegu 3
Seongnam 2
Cheonbuk 2
Busan 1
Daejeon 1 (-1)
Chunnam 1 (-1)
FC Seoul 1 (-1)
Gwangju 1 (-2)
*Suwon 0
(Suwon still to play a game)
---------------------------------
Park Chu-young made his debut for FC Seoul, and got subbed for Kim Eun-jung in the second half.

S: Kim Do-hoon, Kim Cheol-ho
F: Park Chu-young
Daegu 1-0 Incheon (6,234)
D: Song Jeong-hyun
Cheonbuk 2-2 Ulsan (4,036)
C: Park Dong-hyeok, Wang Jung-hyun
U: Lee Jong-min, Carlos
Suwon 3-2 Bucheon (19,264)
S: Nadson (2), Kim Doo-hyun
B: Irineu, Agos
Chunnam 0-1 Daejeon (3,609)
D: Hazino (sp?)
Pohang 2-1 Gwangju (12,520)
P: Da Silva, Ittamar
G: Jung Yoon-sung
Table
Pohang 6 (+2)
Daegu 6 (+1)
Seongnam 5 (+1)
Ulsan 4 (+2)
Bucheon 4
Daejeon 4
Suwon 3 (+1)
Incheon 3
Cheonbuk 3
Busan 1
Chunnam 1 (-2)
FC Seoul 1 (-2)
Gwangju 1 (-3)
-------------------------------------------
Typical Suwon again today, raced into a 3-0 lead after 24 minutes and then contrived to almost throw the game away. I'm still waiting for them to absolutely crush a domestic opponent, and they should have crushed Bucheon today but sat back and tried to coast it after the third goal.
Nadson's second came from a dubious penalty and Kim Doo-hyun's goal came from a pretty poor mistake in the Bucheon defence.
Irineu pulled one back just on half-time with a penalty. Lee Woon-jae saved the first effort but the linesman ruled he moved too early and the referee ordered a retake which Irineu made no mistake with. Agos scored a minute into the second half and Bucheon were all over Suwon for the rest of the game. Song Jong-guk made his Suwon debut and looked pretty good, but the bottom had fallen out of Suwon's game by then.
Choi Sung-yong got subbed midway through the second half to avoid him picking up a red card. He went nuts at the referee a couple of times over some decisions and at one point chucked his gloves away in frustration... never the most clever of things to do.
But I hope Cha Bum-keun's got a contingency plan to replace Nadson as it's only a matter of time before the offers come pouring in for him. That's TEN goals in six games so far this season (he's scored in every match), and he said at the end of the A3 Champions Cup that his target is to score 30~40 goals this year. With at least another 39 matches for Suwon to go this season it probably won't be too hard for him to manage that

yeah, I was just thinking what would happen to Suwon if Nadson gets injured or something. I know Suwon have a few good forwards to replace Nadson if that happens, but it seems that the club's relying so heavily on one player to score.
