    Just saw it this morning.

    I assume it's hot water.

Lets it mold to his foot better.

Do you put the boot on when it's wet? or how does it work?

I am considering doing this with my Legend IVs.

But how? And most importantly, is it a good idea? Should I wear socks or not?

Oh, I thought they only would stretch if they were really snug, mine are a bit spacey, 'cause my feet are still growing. I thought they would mold.

yeh if they were snug i would think they would stretch but if they are spacey im not too sure i'd wait for other opinions before trying it.
to keep on topic i noticed alot of players are going for the black/orange adizero II over the mcdonalds colour.... wonder why that is?!

That boot stretches a lot (which I will be noting on my review to be posted soon in dr.boots) so there is little need to do this before every match. I did soak mine and wear them around the house to break them in faster but that was it.

If they are "spacey" I don't know why on earth you would want to do this, it will only lead to them being looser than they already are. Just play in them and they will mold as needed.

If you opt to do it anyway, I suggest wearing the sock you play in the most.

Whoa, just asking :) I thought the boot would only stretch if they were snug :) But I won't do it then, my IIIs molded without me using any water. Hoping these would do the same :D Thanks for ur help!

wouldn't this make the boot heavy and soggy before the match?

Going to say no. Because the tejin synthetic doesn't absorb or retain the water during soaking.

As long as you towel the inside or quick newspaper through it. There isn't that big of difference in the added weight.

My Elite IVs are on the verge of ripping at the eyelets (forefoot eyelets) cause I've been needing to tighten them so much from over stretching.
