I'm going, and my husband (Publius, aka Jim). Bison and Victory are as well (although they're trouble makers, so we gotta watch out for them).
Just a little more info on some of the side trip options: Pyramids at Teotihuacan http://archaeology.la.asu.edu/teo/ Taxco, Mexico: http://www.otherroads.com/taxco.htm Cuernavaca, Mexico: http://victorian.fortunecity.com/pollock/89/english/pages/index1.htm We can also put together a Mexico City tour (we did that the last time). Contact Lisa and/or Paul for more specifics and prices. On the way back to the airport on Mon, you will make a stop at the Shrine of Guadalupe: http://nanotube.msu.edu/SMG.html ALSO NOTE THE SPA FEATURES IN THE HOTEL: If your spouse is not a big soccer fan, a day of beauty/massage might help your cause in getting to the game! K
You people are crazy. I have worn a Yankees hat to Fenway, but there is no way I am stupid enough to wear the stars and stripes in Mexico. God bless all of you and I hope you are still alive so I can see you when Mexico comes stateside.
K, Paul, Lisa (sorry if I missed someone) - thanks for making the effort and spending the time to set up this roadtrip. It sounds like a lot of fun! Unfortunately, I can't make it because of family obligations (Easter Bunny and all). Thanks again!
The "Castle" in Chapultepec park and the National Anthropology Museum are fantastic must sees while you are there !!
I hope nattybo is planning on going on this trip, for the same reason I hope he goes on each and every Screaming Eagles roadtrip... Yes, natty, they got your check.
if they did, someone has committed identity theft Id love to go, but this is waaaaaaaaaaaay out of my poor-ass price range
You guys are excellent! Thanks for all the work to put this together but I also will not be able to make this trip. I will however be watchign for you all from home. Looking forward to all the photos and stories. Especially looking forward to "How we got out of Azteca after beating Mexico."
We have SEVEN full packages left so if you've been thinking about it, time is ticking to pull the trigger. K
Did it with this group in 2001 and survived Sorry I won't make it this time around, but for those thinking of going the organization last time around was top notch, Lisa in particular did an fantastic job. Azteca will be an amazing experience, both good and bad. And take heart, my not going automatically increases the US' chances of getting a result! See you in Utah in June.
We have four full packages left. If you have emailed us and haven't heard back yet, stay tuned, replies coming at you soon. Thanks K
