"Earthquakes in London: Conditions are perfect for soccer" (Monday, 2/21/11) GO SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES!!! -G
It sounds like the Quakes are staying in the English version of a Motel 6. I think Tottenham stayed in Lew's luxurious Fairmont when they visited us.
You folks take things so seriously Steven was telling a joke. The hotel is first class and Spurs have been very accommodating.
Lenny cried 3 times watching Secretariat? Hope he's tougher on the field! Does John Boehner play forward??
There is at least one room in that place that is worse than a Motel 6. A friend of mine visited me a couple years back, had a room on the 20th floor, right next to some ventilation ducts that sounded like an airliner on takoff.
It's our job to freak out over everything. Just wait until we get into a heated argument over the colors of the players' cleats! GO QUAKES!!! - Mark
"Lenhart to ease Wondo's goal burden at SJ" (Friday, 2/25/11) Steven Lenhart (left) during a practice session at Spurs Lodge Monday GO SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES!!! -G
From Elliot Almond via Twitter: "#Quakes: New target man Steven Lenhart has torn meniscus and will miss March 19 opener. He is out 2-4 weeks. Story in Merc later."
UUUUGH!!!!!! (aka Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu...) I am really nervous about all the small injuries the players have. Not good. Not good at all.
Interesting that it's only 2-4 weeks, I would assume that means he's going to have arthroscopic surgery to repair it. This is frustrating, as it sounded like Lenhart and Wondo were working well together in preseason. The silver lining is that this sounds like a very minor issue and he should be back by the 2nd or 3rd match. It would be nice to read an update on the other injuries - I haven't seen anything about Hernandez, Convey, Sealy or Andre Luiz written.
Robert Jonas reported Hernandez and Convey are training, although cautiously. Sealy is 75% and thinks he'll be 100% by opening day. My interpretation of that is he'll 100% by mid-April. Andre Luiz...don't know. Maybe it says something in this article: André Luiz: "Je suis heureux aux Etats-Unis"
well now. on 3/19 we know there'll be no lennie, no ALM, and maybe no convey, hernandez, or sealy. i'm guessing that leaves us with this (we'll see how close i am to tonites lineup) assuming nobody else gets injured... ---------RJ-------Wondo------- Baca-------Khari----Sam---Gjoey Ramiro------Ike----Bmac-----Leitch
Great... Just what we need, a "lingering" injury just waiting to get blown out. I bet FY knew about it before they got him, too.
