Throw in Martin Love who scored an unbeaten century in his last test innings, Matthew Elliott, Andrew Symonds, Brad Williams, (injured) Nathan Hauritz and Nathan Bracken. Also watch out for Shaun Tait in the next few years... a young fast bowler from South Australia with lots of potential.

Yep, Symonds is in the one-day team and should be for a while unless his form drops away. Speaking of the one-day team, Michael Bevan is another player who can't get a look in anymore. Here's a guy who averages over 50 with the bat and was widely regarded as the best one-day batsman in the world a few years ago, and now he's playing for Tasmania in Australia's domestic competition.

Re: Australian Cricket Team
Australia are an excellent team, no question about that. If England can get back to form then the Ashes should be a great series this summer.

Re: Australian Cricket Team
And what did we see in the 4th test?
At the moment it is impossible to say that anyone is better than Australia, but we will be lucky enough to see them play this summer. I can't wait.

Re: Australian Cricket Team
England is playing some really good test cricket but their one day cricket is rubbish. The Australians are playing some fantastic test cricket and their one day cricket is far better than England's but the Aussies are beatable, as the Black Caps proved, but I doubt either Pakistan or the West Indies currently have enough to win the VB series. The Ashes should be really good games as both teams are playing well. I give the edge to the Aussies though.
