Reading the ESPN recap of the Wizards-Knicks game from the other night. Apparently they were doing some sort "singles night" promotion at the MCI Center last night and Alecko Eskandarian was a "special guest bachelor" in a post-game edition of "The Dating Game." I find this really funny for some reason. Anyone happen to go to the game last night and see what happened?
My roommate just told me he went to that last night and met Alecko...the bastard. He at least mentioned to Alecko that his roommate is obsessed with DCU. That, and he got hooked up with a Wizards cheerleader. There is no god, otherwise, that would've been me there.
I wasn't at the Singles thing, but Esky and Troy Perkins had kick ass mid-court, court-side seats. Alecko was announced, but Troy wasn't. They had better seats than LaVar Arrington and his hot girlfriend. Soccer has arrived in America!
I remember a while back Haywood getting ripped in the media for doing this. It's been an ongoing thing I think.
Nah, my roommate got the cheerleader...at least, he did for the time they were put in a room and made to talk to each other. All he came home with was a hangover. If a cheerleader had a choice between a hard-drinking Army dude who's never heard of a dishwasher or one of MLS's top talents, who do you think she would take?
Furthermore: Let's just be glad nobody (at least nobody that is commonly known) has a picture of Freddy in a similar (or worse) condition at a University of Maryland party on their webshots.

I saw empty seats...unless all those people in the 2nd deck wore yellow to match the seats (insert joke about columbus fans wearing yellow to match seats)
You know soccer has turned the corner when you see players like Alecko in a drunken binge giving the camera a one finger salute.
Look I hate the Skins as much as anyone but the yellow seats are the club seats and people are in watching on TV and eating that buy those seats.
The game in Landover, MD My point was, the Skins have sucked (to my disapointment year after year) for a while now. Im a big a skins fan as most, maybe more so than some. I was just saying that Skins fans havent seen quality football in a while, more than anything. /derail
