Should smith be given more of a chance?
Leeds striker Alan Smith is set to be involved in England's upcoming European Championship qualifiers after impressing Sven-Goran Eriksson on his international debut. Eriksson said that "He played very well that game, I think he was maybe our best player so of course he is very interesting for the future," which is true one believes!
Eriksson also stated that we (the England faithful) should not expect many changes in the starting eleven and planned to use the same group of players that reached the WC quarterfinals.......
Should smith be given more of a chance?

Yes he should, as he seems to have his temper under control now. The fact that Owen is sh_t at the moment gives him more reason to play. Now, all we need is for Sven to drop Heskey, and play a Ashley Cole/Wayne Bridge combo on the left........
