Euro 2008 Final to be at Murrayfield
FOOTBALL power- brokers want the biggest match ever played in Scotland to be at the home of RUGBY, the Sunday Mail can reveal.
They want Murrayfield to host the European final if Scotland and Ireland win the fight to stage the 2008 championships.
Key members of the UEFA inspection team who toured stadiums last week said they were greatly impressed by the dazzling 67,000-seater showpiece home of the Scottish Rugby Union...

I'm very interested in these new stadiums being built in Dundee and Aberdeen. Does anyone know where I can get some information about them

There's a whole series of websites about the Aberdeen development.
www.afc.co.uk (Official Aberdeen FC site)
Enter the site, go to "news", then "Euro 2008".

To be honest - if it does come off successfully - Croke Park should be used to host the Final.
It's a much better stadium than Murrayfield, Hampden and Parkhead.

That's IF it's opened up.
I'm sad to say, if the GAA don't allow Croke Park to be used for Euro 08. you can wave goodbye to the Championships as they head for Vienna and Berne!
