Olympique Lyonnais Cafe
OK, going along with the other cafe's in the French forum, I decided to try out a Lyon thread. I had the fortune of attending a Lyon match (v. Liile) this fall on my honeymoon! So now I try to follow what I can but seeing that I am not a fluent french speaker, it is sometimes challening. So if you have any info, please post!

Re: Olympique Lyonnaise Cafe
n1.
I'm not sure about the title though.
I think all my mates will think that I'm racial stereotyping them......
It WILL be hard for you to get info on them, if you don't speak French...trust me....
En direct...c'est
Istres 0-0 Lyon - mi temps........
I was thinking of whacking on a Monaco one.......something do with the Principality or something?
Alas - the constraints of time are upon my withered soul.....

I pretty much figured it would be like stabbing in the dark...unfortunately.
Yes, I think I need that accent in the title. Damn.

Re: Olympique Lyonnaise Cafe
Here is the main man behind OL's success.
Love him or hate him he IS is the greatest French club president we have today. Took a club in the 2nd division who had a modest budget and turned them into one of Europe's elite. The man deserves respect. All hail Jean-Michel Aulas ! Or as they call him in Monaco, "HoleAss" :-)

Re: Olympique Lyonnaise Cafe
Sorry, it's not the accent you're missing. If you look at the badge you posted, you'll find it's Olympique Lyonnais, sans e.

Re: Olympique Lyonnaise Cafe
I'm the only American OL fan that I know of, but I can only watch them during the CL, thanks to Canal+. Some of our Canadian friends follow them, I think. I guess I can translate the match reports on the website, but they'd be a bit rough.
