This may sound weird...but after the US had lost to Germany, Kahn falling backward in relief. Then, Landon was walking off the field and crying a little bit. Earnie Stewart had his arm around him, and he tapped Landon under his jaw, telling him to keep his chin up. Here was Earnie, KNOWING that was his last hurrah, when Landon likely had 3 more cups in him, yet Earnie was consoling Landon. Every time I think of that moment I get chills.
