Re: Do you rate Michael Clarke
Clarke has been earmarked as a possible future Australian captain, and it's great to see him do so well in his first test. He's done well at limited overs level, and it was only a matter of time before he was given an opportunity at test level, all be it because of Ponting's injury. His footwork against the spinners is fantastic, and he's not afraid to take on any bowlers with his strokeplay. He can also bowl a bit of left-arm spin, which adds some variety to the bowling attack.

Re: Do you rate Michael Clarke
You can't fault him as a player, he is certainly our best batting prospect and is earmarked for a long and illustrious career. As for captaincy - his performances in this role on the odd occasion (with Australia A and NSW) have so far been fairly uninspired. Of course, tactics and the like may very well come with simply more experience. I think we will possibly see another captain before Clarke is considered for the role, although he's a strong chance as the next captain for NSW.
