Default Rovers @ Charlton; 9/27 [r]

I have to work monday, so I'll be catching the replay monday night. For some reason the boys do well when I am forced to catch the game on tape (2-1 vs. Everton and 4-3 vs. Fulham last season) so let's hope that run continues. As for what we may see in the XI....

G
Friedel
D
Neill
Amoruso
Matteo, after sitting in the Cup tie
Gray, also rested in the midweek
M
Emerton
Ferguson, rested
Flitcroft, since Hughes is playing him..unlike Souness
Pedersen, decent after coming on vs. Bournemouth
F
Dickov, another one rested midweek
Stead, needs a goal badly

subs
G
Enckelman
D
Johansson
M
Tugay
F
Bothroyd
Jansen- there's a good chance both of these guys will come on at some point in the match

I think we can get a result out of this, even though the Valley can be a tough place to go into. Charlton has leaked a few goals this season, so hopefully this will be another case of that.

We almost got the draw, but didn't. Flitcroft should have scored early, and somebody should have scored late when we had a series of chances. Oh well. Pretty hard-fought, scrappy game.

somewhat fruststrating to watch this one, as Rovers had so much posession in the second half but could do nothing with it. Hreidarsson should have been penalized for his hand ball, but alas, I've gotten used to the idea of Blackburn never getting the benefit of a penalty ever again. A decent game defensively, aside from giving up the goal on the corner early in the second half.
