Agreed. Agreed. Agreed.

You're a wonderful moderator Matt, with an extensive knowledge of the game. I enjoy pretty much everything you post. But sometimes your smugness is unbearable.

With that said, he is correct. Ignore. Ignore. Ignore.

LOL!

Thanks ... erm ... I think.

Anyway, the point is that we have a lot going for us in here, especially when considered in the light of the rest of this zoo. I think we should all do a bit to keep it like that. Some of you are newer posters, others have been around as long as I have and longer, but each new addition seems to fit in nicely.

The odd floater in the bowl notwithstanding, that is. Soon flushed, as you have just seen.

Remember Matt, you bit first!!

You couldn't resist his idiotic posts either.

But anyway, thanks for getting rid of the little shit

Well, that's slightly unfair. I did bite, but not in the manner I would elsewhere around here. I was just pointing out the error of his ways in the genuine hope that he would put himself straight. So I was a bit caustic, but then I am always a bit caustic with thick people.

Sadly, he really was an imbecile and, as such, incabable of cottoning on to his position.

You know you've reached the point of no return with these types when their posts end up as basically just asterisks and badly spelt sentence fragments. Time to get shot.

I wasn't been unfair, just saying we all bit, and we all should ignore crap like this in future.

I am just waiting to see what his new name will be when he comes back on here!

BTW, I had a great laugh reading everyone's responses to him over the weekend.

Shakespeare, mothers, sisters, military threats, grammar lessons, in the meantime Liverpool won 3-2.

I think it had gotten to the point where it couldn't be ignored, which was why I reported it to Matt (something I normally wouldn't do). It was becoming increasingly difficult to have a discussion on the official thread. I'm fairly new to this board (though not to BS) and I want to see it continue to be a source for intelligent discussion about LFC.

I reported it too. But I am not sure whether mine went to Matt or someone higher up. I am not sure who has red card authority.

I am intrigued by the straight "Red Card" though, no yellow first. "Come on ref I hardly touched him!"

I am just kidding by the way, a red was truly deserved.

I’m guilty of rising up and taking the bait. As a BigSoccer Newbie, I’ll use that as my defense for the error.

Of course, in all the furor that ensued, I passed the 25-post mark, which removes my “newbie” tag. So I no longer have any excuses.

Ignore, ignore, ignore. And post positively and constructively--good posts driving out the bad.

Lesson learned.

You too, huh? I don't think I bothered with him on any threads, but I think I reported him at least twice.

So, any guesses on when he'll resurface? And on how many posts it will take before he's found out (I'll say that number will be right around two). Of course, maybe he figured out how to circumvent the upgraded NetNanny his parents put on his computer and will go about dealing with his puberty problems in a more... let's say typical... way.

Thanks for getting rid of the insufferable little puke, Matt. It was much needed.

I also want to say that I support what Matt says about the quality of posts and users in this forum. As a regular reader/infrequent poster in other team forums, I can tell you that the level of discussion is, in general, much more civil, intelligent, and measured here, and I am thankful for that. It's nice to engage in spirited yet reasoned debate (e.g., see the "Xavier bashing" thread).
