Du Wei has really matured. Scotland took a big toll him but it looks like he has recovered and grown.

    Qu Bo scored. 44'. 1-0.

Thought it was going to be 0-0. HK is not doing too badly.

Like i predicted our players have a hard time to create dangerous opportunities during play. Our best chances has come through set pieces and crosses, not becuase we´re strong in the air but more that HK really have bad air defense. They showed it against Korea, Japan and now against us.

Btw Happy new year everybody :) Sann Nin Fai Lak. Gong Xi Ni? ^^

Hah u didn´t miss that much, though we started racking up chances in the end but failed to get that last pass/shot right. Qu Bo is currently top scorer with Keiji Tamada with 2 goals. Yang Zhi got 3 clean sheets, impressive on paper, but with the games in mind he didn´t really have much to do in all games. Gonna watch Japan-Korea, hoping for a fun open game, any result is fine as long as Japan doesn´t win with more than 1 goal :D

No matter whether China can win the title. It is very nice to see China defeating South Korea and keep a clean sheet throughout the three matches.

Yeah you didn´t miss that much. China really needs to learn how to punish teams that are set out to defend and play on the counter because Hong Kong had one or two chances to really spring a surprise. Overall China won comfortably, though with the possession they had they really should have mounted on the pressure. Their lack of pressure was particularly evident within the second half when China started so slowly and Hong Kong decided to attack and push players up and if it wasn't for the penalty it could have been a nervy end to the game. Overall it was an OK game and I'm personally glad that Hong Kong didn't get thrashed.

Looks like China will win the tournament. SK is up 2-1 at half time. Japan played a prettier game but SK scored more goals.

Japan down 1-2 and with one player sent off after 45 minutes. China has basically won the tournament, and deservedly so. Congratulations!!

I meant with more than 1 goals, as in 2-1 or 3-2 or 1-0 :D

The game is far more exciting than China vs Hong Kong. Japan 10 players after Tulio got sent off and South Korea is up 2-1. Looking good for us, Yang Zhi for best GK? :)

Yang Zhi is looking good to me. Best NT keeper for a while. Much better than that erratic Wang Dalei for sure.

Japan took some time off after the first goal. And then caught surprised when BOOM, SK scored the equalizer with a PK of its own. Even that guy who gave away the PK looked like he was busy moon-walking. There was no reason at all to commit that foul and he knew it as soon as he did it, probably just for fun.

Now at half time it does look like China has won it. But anything is possible, especially in this game. Japan may decide to be serious again in the second half. :)

Im really impressed with Yang Zhi, he never/rarely makes mistakes, hes best player on NT for sure. Wang Dalei.. haven´t seen him play since some youth cup a few years ago, back then he was the bomb. Don´t really know what happened since then, always though hes be the next big thing. Although he can still make it. 20 years for a GK is like a baby
