Help! NY/CT Adult Soccer Leagues
I just moved to Westchester County, New York, near the Connecticut border. I haven't missed SOME sort of playing in the summer or fall for almost twenty years, but now I find myself without a place to play.
I need to find a league for recreational or intermediate players in Westchester County or western Connecticut. I'm 24 years old, and have played since I was five, up to a year at a Division I Junior College.
I need to find a league before I go mad not playing. I saw that you can play indoor at Chelsea Piers in NYC, but that's too expensive for me to do right now, I think. I'd like to find a fall outdoor league for intermediate or recreational players - age limits don't matter to me as long as I'm old/young enough to get in the league.
If you play in any of these leagues, please let me know. Even better, if you need a experienced player for your team, I have experience at the Junior College level playing as a striker, a wingback, or even goal.
Please help if you can, I'm fiending here.
Thanks!

What is the Cosmopolitan Soccer League? Remember, I JUST moved here and don't have any clue where to look. Do you have a link or something?
Also, it should be noted that I prefer outdoor, but will gladly play inside and out.

Have you tried Googling for anything? I just googled for "connecticut recreational soccer league" and found tons of stuff. That's how I found my leagues....but I'm not in NY/CT

Westchester NY League
Hey, guys, I'm looking for a league to play in or around Westchester county, NY. I'm 26, played all the way up through my first year of juco, but I've been off the pitch for about two years. I'd prefer an outdoor league but really just want to play somewhere, rec or somewhat competitive, I don't care as long as the league is well-run.
I'm willing to play pretty much anywhere in Westchester county, eastern Rockland county, or Manhattan.
If anyone's got any ideas I'd love to hear them, thanks in advance.

newyork.craigslist.com
--> activity partners
--> soccer
also, you can sometimes find really good pickup games in any of NYC parks, like Pier 40, east river park, etc..

www.ctsoccer.org lists has adult leagues for CT State Soccer Asociation and links to individual league websites.

Oh, I see my old thread got merged with my new one, heh. Sorry about that, mods. I'll check out the CSL and see if anything works for me there given that I'm now about 20 minutes closer to NYC than I was when I posted the first time. I'm definitely looking for something with structure, not just pickup games.
