Insulting (The game inside the game)
There is a kid on my team that loves to make fun of and insult the opposing teams players during the game.
examples:
There is a fat kid that plays for a team called UC strikers (it must be because his parents have deep pockets. seriously the kid is 250 and has no talent) and the kid constantly calls him "blueberry" or "pasa de vaca"s him, and on the way around tells him to lose some pounds.
There is a team called the Utah Blitzz who are mainly made up of latinos, and their names show it "fernando, jose, eduardo, roberto, etc." and the kid on our team isn't racist at all. His dad's even mexican, but he just runs around calling everyone "edjulio" or "hose B (as in there's hose A, and hose B) it's just to get under their skin and make them mad at him.
There's a wanna be beckham on UC strikers that has the same cleats, same hairdo (he shaved it as soon as he found out becks did) and acts like him too. He shot a few over the top, and the kid on our team says "like father like son, eh brooklyn?" and calls him romeo a lot.
The list goes on and on. You can really see how it changes the way a person plays. They don't play like normal, its almost like a wherewolf has been unleashed, and they just run around in rage, seems wierd to me. What do you think about insults like this? are they a part of the beautiful game that should not change, or a part that should be taken away? is there anyone on your team that does this? have you been insulted? what insults do people say?

lol that's hilarious.
anyhow, it's better to keep the mouth shut. The beckham wannabe deserves it though. Quick question- does he talk like becks? dress like becks?

he talks like him and dresses like him. he sewed a real madrid patch on his sleeve (even though the uniform is made by score, and is like a green/purple tie dye thing that makes me wanna puke and laugh all at the same time) and his number is 23

Most ******** like that you'll get a warning or a caution for. I'd send off the kid who was racially taunting the Mexicans.
Calling it "the game inside the game" is pretty offensive. It's hardly sportsmanlike to go out there intending to piss someone off.

It seems funny to me that he does that, because he's half mexican. I disagree with your first comment, however. The ref can only be one place at a time, you could insult and make fun of them all you wanted.
I called it the game inside the game not because I think its a good or important part of it, but because it turns into a game, and its inside the game.

Re: Insulting (The game inside the game)
I prefer to keep the game tidy with strong hard challenges and stuff like that, let your football do the talking.
Also if you know anything at all, you don't insult or start on people you don't know, for that reason. One day he's going to insult the wrong person, and the bloke might have an extra short fuse and turn round and knock the kid out. Keep the insults and personal wars to people you know about or know personally.
I'd love to smack that kid you're talking about, things like that are okay in moderation, and when they're only used lightly.
