Question Does winning the CL "forgive" losing the domestic league title?

Would you rather your club win its domestic league title or the CL? I remember Zidane said winning the CL was the 2nd greatest highlight of his career next to winning the WC.

Champions League. It is the more difficult title as you got to compete against the best clubs of the world. In the national championships you hardly have a handful of teams being able to play for the title.

Ofcourse CL. But I think it depends on the club in question.

When Ajax won it in 1995.... it's still the NR 1 thing in my life so far. I never expected to see that happen as Ajax just never was real European top. If you win it more often it's just not the same. But even then I think it's more important than being league champion.
