Longest running kit/jersey sponsor?
The title sponsors on teams' jerseys seem to change every year. Are there any famous long-term sponsors that are virtually synoymous with a team?
The longest one I'm aware of is "Carlsberg" on the Liverpool shirts since 1993.

Arsenal's deal with JVC dated back to at least 1989. Anyone know how long VfL Wolfsburg have been sponsored by Volkswagen?

Actually, I just read that the JVC deal went for 18 years (1981-1998). Liverpool still needs a way to go to catch up.

The longest football shirt sponsorship was Sharpe and Manchester United which partnered for 17 years.

Pirelli does own Inter (or, to be more precise, the Agnelli family owns both). I'm not sure about Volkswagen and Wolfsburg.
Although, a number of companies that own teams don't choose to sponsor them themselves - for example, Fiat don't sponsor Juventus, nor does Canal + sponsor Paris Saint-Germain.
