Pompey boss wants reunion with West Ham favourite Di Canio
Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp is targeting West Ham United attacker Paolo Di Canio.
Redknapp wants the flamboyant Italian to drop down a division and join him at Fratton Park. He reportedly has the backing of the Pompey board and could sound out the fit-again striker about a midseason move.
Redknapp is concerned he doesn't have enough attacking options in his squad to maintain a serious promotion campaign and would love a reunion with Di Canio.

West Ham United boss Glenn Roeder has revealed the club is close to landing a big name for January's transfer period.
He told the club's website: "We have already got our eye on one for January and if we can get this particular target that month, I think it would be a brilliant signing, a little bit of a coup for us.
