Default International Superstars Soccer for G3.

It is in development for the GameCube. I remember this series receiving alot of acclaim on previous Nintendo platforms. I believe it was even awarded sports game of the year by some publication over "American" sports games. It is by Konami... Will this be the American version of Pro Evolution?? I wish they knew when it was coming out...maybe the length of time it is taking to be developed means it will be something special.

Anybody know anything or have any feedback??

actually it came out on the gamecube over in England and it was supposedly too arcadey and not as good as the sister pro evolution series.

what I want to know is if PES2 is coming to the gamecube.

Well, this posting offered no release date, screenshots, etc. So, it must be in the early stages. Perhaps the initial release was a lower "evolution", no pun intended, of this next one. It's been rumored for quite some time, but no real evidence of it...hopefully they are working hard on this one to bring it on par with the mysterious and mythical PES!

I have played Pro Evolution Soccer. It's great. But it's not like you're missing out on all that much if you played the MLS games. Not trying to start another flame war, but both games move pretty much the same way and play the same. Yeah PES is better but I still fail to see why some say it's superior.

But Pro Evolution 2 has a lot more options... the master league has 3 divisions, real player names, different ways a player can fall down, new skill moves and the crowds only cheer for the home team.

Yeah, that does annoy me on FIFA, since the stadium you play in (even your home pitch), changes from game to game, it is impossible to tell if you are the home or road team, and the cheers are just as loud for either side, they should be faint for one and loud for other...Oh well. Haven't played Extratime yet, tried to get it on E-Bay a few weeks back and was out bid...
