Default Rotherham - Middlesbrough 21/7 [R]

I am planning on travelling to Rotherham to see this game. I will give a report when i get back

Boro are going to be without the following as another boro team will be playing york city the same night:

Carlo Nash, Dale Roberts, Tony McMahon, Chris Riggott, Matthew Bates, Andrew Taylor, Sergio, Mark Wilson, Juninho, Stewart Downing, Massimo Maccarone, Szilard Nemeth, Seb Hines, Anthony Peacock, Tom Craddock, Adam Johnson, Danny Reed

Malcolm Christie and Andrew Davies are out injured. All the rest of the first team squad who are fit will travel to Rotherham

Following this news i expect the team against Rotherham to be:

Schwarzer, Parnaby, Queudrue, Ehiogu, Southgate, Mendieta, Greening, Boateng, Doriva, Viduka, Hasselbaink

Doriva is coming back from injury so im not sure if he will play

Just got back from the game and it wasnt what i expected

Rotherham 2-2 Middlesbrough
Mendieta
Viduka (Penalty)

Boro lined up in a 4-3-1-2 formation

Schwarzer, Parnaby, Queudrue, Ehiogu, Southgate (C), Mendieta, Boateng, Greening, Job, Hasselbaink, Viduka

Subs: Graham, Knight, Wheater, Cattermole, Kennedy

Boro went 1-0 down in the 1st half and at half time they were still 1-0 Down. Rather poor play all through the 1st half and we didnt look like scoring at all.

2nd half started in a lively fashion as Viduka set up a nice cross and Mendieta finished from close range. A few minutes later Viduka was fouled in the box and Viduka converted the penalty. Not long after Rotherham came back and hit a 2nd goal.

Rather poor game in all. Hasselbaink most dissapointing.

MOTM: Job

Preston away on Saturday next
