Question Minus EPL Clubs, which club is the MOST popular in London?

I'm very curious. I have heard and seen lots of QPR, West Ham Utd, and Millwall supporters to name a few.

So which current NON-EPL club is the most popular in London???

Sorry Patrick, I would of answered this sooner if Id of seen it!! The most popular London club outside the Prem is by a long way West Ham. They have a huge history, especially as they had so many connections with the team that won the world cup in 1966. Also there is no other team large or small in the East of London. So they have a monopoly on the whole area. It is only recently (as you know) that they slipped out of the top league, before that they had great traditions and were very well supported with 20,000 as a regular crowd.

Rick, is Dagenham & Redbridge considered part of the East End of London?

my 2d favorite English side is Leyton Orient. IIRC they almost won promotion to Division Two a few years back. The name is cool

Kind of, but they are actually in Essex, so some people don't count that. plus they are a tiny team with very little support. To be honest I forgot about Orient, they do have a large support, but again not as big as West Ham

No problem, rickbreese. My hunch was West Ham Utd. I know that the few WH Utd matches that I saw on TV a few years back, Upton Park was packed and LOUD! And most of the West Ham Utd supporters on BigSoccer are very passionate and cool people.

Isn't it still actually called Boleyn Ground? Haven't been there for years but I seem to remember it's not in fact called Upton Park. That's the tube station, isn't it?

Yeah, called Boleyn Ground now but it's like Highbury. Nobody calls it Arsenal Stadium just like nobody calls it Boleyn Ground. Will always be Upton Park!

Some people also seem to have problems with the name of Queens Park Rangers ground as well......I've always prefered Loftus Road.
