Everybody, Having spent much time in Topeka for the past couple weeks, there is so much support for what we are trying to get done. It's a big project though and i think as many positive voices as legislators, Gov. Parkinson and Secretaries Kerr and Wagnon hear, the better it will be. Any shout out for Cerner and the Wizards will be much appreciated. Thank you so much for patience and resilience.....
Go get 'em. I am all for either site. If the KCK site is better right now then that is awesome, go for it. In fact, with all the amenities and destinations that already exist at The Legends, it seems to me that there is a great chance that (you) will spend more money on the stadium and make it even better than what would have been at Bannister. Hope to hear something soon.

That's hilariously accurate. I've never noticed that before. Driving from the market to 31st street last night, it dawned on me how much the city has changed over the last 10 years. For all the crap she got about some of the inappropriate TIFs, I wonder if Kay Barnes would've gotten Three Trails done. It's certainly dead for the Wizards now though - and they won't exist without a home stadium. That's why I had no problem writing an email - though I haven't received a reply yet, not even a form response.
With all other things being equal, I doubt it... the economy cratering killed Three Trails for the time being just as much, if not more than, Funkhouser's bungling...
Just thought I would say that the Governor of Kansas, Mark Parkinson, just sent me a letter stating that he got my emails. Whether it helped or not, dont know but at least he is seeing and reading the emails being sent.
