Makes you wonder if he threw that elbow at McAteer knowing he would soon have hip surgery and that a three game ban from a red card would be meaningless. Roy is one of my favorite players, and one of the best players in the world, but when he does stupid things like this, I can only shake my head.

I must admit it does make you wonder if it was in the back of his mind that it wouldn't matter if he was red-carded
