The new 2010 Fire kits. Wha'cha think?

    http://thefireatthebridge.hostzi.com/

I actually don't know what I think about'em. The white lines going down on the jersey going inward are kinda odd. I dont like or dislike the jersey, I don't really know.

    What do you guys think?

Hard to say without seeing them on someone, but those white stripes would be slimming ;)

I feel the current version is a bit dull and simple, but this is at the extreme opposite. Too busy. Oh well.

Maybe they'll look better in person and on an actual player.

I don't like the lack of the horizontal stripe on the white jersey. That's the main distinguishing feature of a Fire jersey, and it doesn't look right without it.

Not sure how these stack up overall, but they're better than the ones from a few years ago with the wavy lines (2007?). I like the current uniforms better, though. Simple is good.

I still wish they'd switch their secondary uniforms to either the yellow Morelia jersey they had back in 2003-04 (yellow shirt with red trim, blue shorts) or the light blue Chicago flag jersey. Both just make so much more sense than the white uniforms and both would work perfectly well as a light-color option, but I've pretty much given up on it ever happening.

My opinion sucks but so does that design.

I'll stick with the '05/'06 Puma yet again.

i agree with you about the away kit, but if MLS has shown anything.. it's that the uniforms will either be really boring or really ugly. those are our two options.. it's best to just get used to it.

The white stripes down the sides and back make it look likr crap. The youth replica's look much better.

I still wish Peter Wilt would've gone with the original design Nike came up with after Peter changed the name of the club from Rhythm to Fire.

Looks like a Quetzalcoatl robe for an Aztec priest.

Actually, it looks a lot like the original LA Galaxy uniform to me . . . which may have been Quetzalcoatl inspired.

But if the Fire actually did make that jersey, I would own it and wear it to every game.:D

I can't tell if the top 2 are Adidas' bra top design (red balls/chelsea/bayern) or their pretty sharp, less is more design (liverpool/madrid) or something slightly new.

the bottom 2 are the liverpool/madrids though.

The away does need the stripe. Maybe a blue one to be a little different for 2 years.

I like the primary one, but it doesn't seem right not to have the stripe on the secondary jersey. I wouldn't mind going back to a blue stripe for that one, it reminded me of the mid 80's White Sox jerseys when we had that color for the inaugural and subsequent seasons.

I like that they lifted the stripe a little, and thinned it out. The current ones I like, but the stripe was just too wide and low.

    Top two are Liverpool/Madrid template.

Well of course. I'd love to see the league let each time get their own sponsor again and the Fire return to Puma. Love those kits.

What's the difference between the two red short-sleeved jerseys? And is the white uniform the away kit or a training jersey? If it's the actual away jersey, it will do away with the stripe across the chest for the first time... ever, no?

Sorry... but I can't expand the image.

Considering how terrible the new Everton shirts:

and the new chelsea shirts are:

I'm not going to complain at all about ours.

My problem comes in the form that my away version is the only one left standing at the moment. I really miss my 05/06 home Puma. :(

We're stuck with Adidas. Period. It's really too bad as the current Red Stars home kit kicks the crap out of our current and future versions home and away under Adidas and what should've been our third when Puma was at the helm.

When you consider these I guess I should thank the lord above... Especially the Everton kit.

    It's all opinion though...

I think instead of using vague block letters for best buy maybe we should use the yellow "tag" used in adds and the run the white down the side panels instead of across the front of the jersey?
