New Coach..
So I decided to pull the plug on my coach. He was the original one of Panatha F.C. and was rated at weak leadership. Picked up a new one for 329700 USD that has inadequate leadership and passable experience. It leaves me in the plus so no worries about money. Didn't want to get the solid coach because it would leave me in the red big time. What are your thoughts?

Re: New Coach..
You did a good job of picking a new coach. The passable experience is meaningless for his job, but his trainer level (passable) is a good upgrade over the previous one. You'll find players will jump levels 2 weeks faster than the old one. The inadequate leadership is a small drawback because he won't be able to maintain TS as well as a solid, but you couldn't have really afforded him. I made the mistake of picking up an inadequate trainer/passable leadership coach. Bah. I wish I had done the passable/poor route instead.

Re: New Coach..
Here is my current coach
He dropped to inadequate leadership on March 8, 2004
A passable trainer who is fond of attacking
A sympathetic guy who is temperamental and dishonest.
Has weak experience and inadequate leadership abilities.
So he is passable/inadequate
My TS has been fairly crappy this season after I was very slow recovering from one MOTS. I do have a full clown already.
Should I wait until his leadership drops again or replace him now?
I have approx. $900K in the bank with another $350K coming from Sunday's big league match this weekend.
Then again I am itching to spend this money on a winger or defender!

Re: New Coach..
Money burning a whole in your pocket? I had the same thought this morning while I was taking the dogs outside, do I replace my coach now or wait? And then I thought, should I have him quit for health reasons, or should he die in a car accident? I can't fire him, that would be disloyal, i've only had the schlub for a season. I'd rather kill him It's more fun

I have the same problem, I can't really fire my coach, he hasn't done anything that would be worth firing, of course neither did Raneri of Chelsea, but he's being fired. I'm looking to save my money and get a solid coach, with probably inad leadership or maybe passable, depending on how much money I can save before the hole in my pocket gets too big and I drop it on something else.

Re: New Coach..
Here's my coach:
Paul Lilly (25620982)
40 years, poor form, healthy
A weak trainer who is defensive minded
A pleasant guy who is balanced and infamous.
Has poor experience and weak leadership abilities

I'll give you the advice that was given to me by Deuteriumoxide when I first started playing: Upgrade your coach. I don't know your economic situation, but my suggestion is to get a passable trainer/poor leadership. The benefits to your training program are immeasurable.

Re: New Coach..
How much is that gonna cost? I figure by the end of the season I will have about $200,000 to spend on a coach.

Re: New Coach..
And why would I want a poor leadership coach? Poor is lower than weak, so that would be a downgrade... isn't leadership good to have for a coach...?
Well, if I really don't need leadership... I could get a passable/weak coach and stay within my budget. Or I could get a solid/poor for only a little more. Which would be better? Or should I just stick with passable/poor and save a lot of money?
Dang, don't know my own power. See next post for my suggestions.
