I bought a keeper a few days ago for £5000 (which must be about $7500) which inadequate keeper skill but hes worth £92666 which means hes basically nearly a passable keeper. It must be a good deal if i can train him in keepers for 1 week and then sell him for much more right?

I bought a inad. keeper for $14,000 and he popped to passable within a week or two. I just sold him a week or two ago for $51,000. He probably would have been worth more, but by the time I sold him his form had tanked to poor and he was pulling worse star ratings than my Inadequate keeper.

I'd take that deal, he is really close to passable and should pop in a few weeks I would think. That is a good deal

It looks like a pretty good deal. Selling him for more would make you decent money, but not as much as can be made by training a high passable up to solid, I shouldn't think.

And of course, the real money in training generally comes starting at formidable and continuing up into the world class - titanic range.

well, i've now switched my training over to keeper training now this weeks England training is complete. I think i might keep the keeper for now and train him up past passable to solid or excellent even if it takes a few seasons

How old is he? Don't bother training him long-term if he's older than 19.

If you decide to go with keeper training, you should also pick up another youngster -- preferably the highest skill 17-yo you can afford (maybe an 18-yo if the price difference is too extreme, but this late in the season 17-yo is more reasonably priced).
