Stadiums
What is the current capacity of all your stadiums? I expanded mine to 8100 (1000 under roof, 100 VIP) without knowing that there would be a £20000 cost for the upgrade

Re: Stadiums
Construction is currently underway on mine to expand to 23K for my impending promotion to V. This is my second expansion, first went to 15631.
If you are using Hattrick Buddy, there is an arena tool that you can use to calculate the proper percentages for the desired arena size. If not, go here and click on tools>arenasizer. The percentages are different then the Buddy ones. I prefer the Buddy ones because of the increase VIP section.

When you do increase your stadium next time make sure it is in a large enough increment to make the expansion worth it.
I made the mistake (back in season 18) of expanding too little at a time.
My most recent expansion went from approx. 30K seats to just over 55,000. I just sold out my 55,000+ stadium last week and made more than $360K!!

Re: Stadiums
That's the big key with stadium addition, adding to little, I too have made the mistake of adding WAY to few seats one time. Currently though, my stadium seats 25,500, and I almost sold out my first game with the stadium that size it was around $180K if I remember right, not as good as Mark's but still a nice chunk of change.

Re: Stadiums
I went from 20k this season to 30k. Bring in $200k per sellout. Should get two sellouts my next two home games.
Currently at 1299 suppporters.
I may use the $ from my sellouts to expand again for next season's cup.... decisions, decisions.

Re: Stadiums
I'm at 40 000, and while I'm not looking to expand at the moment, I might consider going up to 50 000 next season.
Adding 1100 seats isn't optimal, but it's not as absurd as the people who have added one or five VIP seats.

Remember it takes a few days for the expansion to happen so you'll have to expand within the next couple of days if you want it ready for a week on Sunday
Mine is at 20000 at the moment but since i've sold out the last 2 games i guess i need to expand. I think i'll wait to see what series i'm in next season
first though.

Re: Stadiums
Arena: The Supercollider
Belongs to: Heavy Water FC
Country: USA
Region: Alabama
Last improvement: 2/27/2004
Total capacity: 18010
Terraces: 11200
Basic seating: 4550
Seats under roof: 1850
Seats in VIP boxes: 410
The ten comes from when I was a noob and added ten seats without knowing about the $30,000 improvement tax.
