That extra half an hour tacked onto the start time could do a lot for the people coming in from work. This match is Special Game C for the season ticket holders and parking pass people. You're all encouraged to come watch the game in person because you'll be subjected to FSC Supercouple Max Bretos and Christopher Sullivan if you watch on TV (Sullivan's wiki once said that he was in a relationship with Bretos, and we all know that wikipedia never lies.)

Get your tailgate on.

i for one am grateful for the later start.. leaving straight from work, should be there around 630.

I'll be there. Kind of disappointed there's no game thread yet maybe I'll do one tomorrow morning. Don't know much about Firpo but just visited their website. They're from Usulatan, a town in the eastern part of El Salvador but they seem to play international type games at Cuscatlan Stadium which is the main stadium in San Salvador used by their national team.

Both Raul Diaz Arce and Cienfuegos played for some of their earlier championship winning teams. They're named after 1920's Argentine boxer Luis Angel Firpo. Here's a famous painting of him knocking Jack Dempsey out of the ring:

I'll be at the game in El Salvador on August 4th. I've been in El Salvador for a little more than a week now and I won't be getting back to DC til late August, so I consider this a kickass coincidence. I brought my Barra jersey and scarf to wear to the match. I really can't wait. And yep, the game is in el Cuscatlan.
