This has nothing to do with Japanese abroad but I have a question..

I was wondering if the Champions league final will be broadcasted on tv in japan. I am aware that sky perfect carries all the games but I have seen some late night games on fuji telebi as well....any info would be greatly appreciated

So Bologna wants to buy Nakata from Parma for 6 million Euro, for those who don't read Japanese.

Good news indeed. Great to have a manager who thinks highly of you, isn't it?

And with Parmalat in deep financial doodoo, they are willing to take low offers, I'm sure.

There is also talk of Bologna buying Nakata, then trading him to Fulham for Inamoto. But I expect Nakata to stay at Bologna and for Ina to stay at FUlham.

There are rumors that Bayern Munich is interested in Okubo. I have not seen him since I left Kobe last year. How has he been doing?

I know what you mean - he was supposed to be at Parma this time last year.

But Rummenige (Bayern's chairman) hinted that he would be acquiring a young Japanese player and actually named Okubo. I'm not holding my breath but we'll see how this plays out.

KAWABUCHI,who is the chairman of JFA,
    said that EURO based Players(Nakata,Inamoto,Ono,Takahara,Nakamura,Suzuki,Kawaguchi)
might not be made to participate in ASIA CUP.
    Probably Yanagisawa will participate.
Since some clubs come in contact with him, he has to sell himself.
Toda and Hiroyama must also look for the next club in Europe.
However, since they are not the players of Kashima, Zico is uninterested.

I've never thought Okubo is a quality player at all. His intelligence is below the average , and his technique as well as his speed is just average.

Tanaka should be far better and should be given a shot at the senior NT.

Sponichi says Tottenham are tracking Nakata. They've always wanted a Japanese player and they got Toda, but this time, I think they want a guy who's actually going to play. They will be watching him when Japan visits England on June 1:

why does kaz ishii keep walking batters? meanwhile otsuka, takatsu, and hideki matsui are impressive so far. with this pace, h.matsui will easily hit .300 30hr 100rbi.

matsui homered off nomo. i thought it makes nomo's situation even worse but it seems like he got back on track later. matsui homered today too. still only 13th of the season. not good enough.

kazuo matsui has been the biggest disappointment with so much high expectation since nomo opened up the gate for asian major leagues. none of nomo, sasaki, ichiro, ishii, and h.matsui made us disappointed this much...oh wait, there's one: hideki irabu. in a sense he wasn't such a disappointment though. what's up with stupid errors and .250 avg? i don't think shinjo was that bad in his first year for the mets. it seems like japanese players never do super for the mets.

No idea where Kashiwada is right now. Didn't he pitch for the Tokyo Giants last season? Hell, I hate that ball team, more precisely, Nabetsune! I was going to punch his nose what I saw him at the Tokyo Dome before the game a few years ago.
