Default Villa`s new kit

Just seen the new kit. It`s awful. We also appear to be sponsored by Cows.

That is f'ing terrible. I liked the all Claret tops we had a couple of seasons ago, match that with the blue shorts and that would be my perfect kit.

While we are on the subject, can we ditch the yellow and black away for the whites we had the year before. I dunno, the yellow and black aren't all bad but I thought it was a step in the wrong direction.

The away kit is white. Just white with some naff blue shevrons down the sleeves. The shorts are white or blue for both home and away. There will be some away games where we`ll play in all white (If our opponents home kit has blue shorts).

Since all white was the European cup winning kit, it might be a good omen if we qualify for Europe next year.

The 1992/93 kit with the lace-up was my favourite one. To the untrained eye they all look the same, but they`re not. Some interesting colours in the 19th century though!

Nice to see the Yellow kit is gone, while I'm not a fan of the new Home shirt, the away doesn't look too bad.

The home kit doesn`t look too bad now I`ve got used to it, but those chevrons and the shiny nylon make it the tackiest shirt we`ve had since hummel last made our kit.

Still looks like Cows, though.

With regard to this woman wearing the Villa jersey, did anyone happen to catch the reports of Villa's new kits on Fox Sports World news the other day? They showed a clip of the "runway"-style unveiling of the uniforms, where these dodgy-looking women came out wearing the jerseys, strutting in kind of an aggressive, street-thug fashion, and kicked into a frighteningly overenthusiastic "In Living Color" sort of synchronized dance routine. Even more bizarre was that the crowd was largely a bunch of old men in business suits, sitting very stone-faced and still in the wake of this thumping, in-your-face techno music.

Kind of disturbing, really.

No I didn`t see it, but I wish I had now. Villa have gone for the tacky style in just about everything the last couple of years, having been a very traditional club. The new stand is made mainly of Orange and Grey plastic so nothing would supprise me about the kit launch.

I was really looking forward to the new hummel kits as they have some great styles.

What we got was a major disappointment. First of all the "Cows" is silly. Rover was a perfect sponsor for us, local, simple, classy. Hate how the blue comes all the way to the neck. The arrows on the side are excesive. Also don't like Hummel spelt out. Would have preferred their logo instead.

I won't be buying it!
