What do the Wolves need to get back to the EPL?
Seemed to me that the beginning of the season that the Wolves defense was a lot better than what it ended up being. I am hoping that they can sign some defense and make a good run in Division One in order to return to the EPL.
What do you think Wolves need to get back to the EPL?

Re: What do the Wolves need to get back to the EPL?
I would say our defence was worse at the start of the season - we conceeded 9 goals in the first two games. paul butler and jody craddock are good defenders but wolves just couldnt cope with the massive difference in class because the premiership and the first division and it took us too long to adjust to live in the premiership. our season was all but over by october. but to answer the question, wolves need to do two things i think to get back in the premiership. firstly we need to keep hold of our best players. hopefully butler will sign a new contract, and hopefully dave jones can persuade paul ince to stay for one more season. but it looks like alex rae will not be staying which is a shame. some cash should be available to wolves to buy another couple of players, and unlike leeds united, wolves arent in a position where they need to sell players. the second thing wolves will need to go staight back up is lots of goals. it looks more likely now that henri camara will be staying which is a massive boost, in his current form he should score 30 goals in the first division. kenny miller has proven he can score alot in the division and carl cort should do well too. with three or four new signings wolves should be leading the division from the outset.

Re: What do the Wolves need to get back to the EPL?
Well, at First Division level, we should be fine defensively but we need new left and right backs, with Irwin retiring and Naylor not up to the job. We should be okay in midfield as Ince is giving every indication he will stay and Cameron (to my mind anyway) has shown he's good enough for the top-flight. Probably need to look to add a another face to the midfield anyway, but it looks like Dave Jones is working on that. If Silas stays, he can play on either wing. Within an extended run in the first team he could prove a useful player. I dunno if Cooper is staying with the club, but we probably need another winger to challenge Newts & Kennedy. Up front, well I don't think we'll have a problem there, even if Camara leaves. If Camara stays however, I think he and Cort will EASILY be the best striking partnership in the first divison.

good call cascade. an injection of youth in midfield would see wolves with a strong first division team. wonder if gudjonsson will be kept on, he hasnt really had a chance to prove his worth but i think he has potential. i heard cooper wants to stay at norwich but if he comes back thats good news as hes a good forst divison player.

What is the difference between Barclaycard and Barclays, is this serious, that it is changing? Does this mean all of my football jerseys will be obsolete next season?

yes its changing. barclaycard is a a visa credit card here in the uk, barclays is a bank. i think they are the same company so not sure why they are changing the sponsorship name. this should not affect your football shirts / jerseys, apart from the premiership patch on the sleeve if they have one. i think you can buy those seperately.

OK thanks, it is odd- some of the jerseys come with the patch and some do not. It all depends.

I think they buy some cheap brazilian players and have a good young squad.
