Week 9
Another week, a third win in a row for me, 4-2. All was not great though, as my leading scorer, Mats Ohrsjo is suspended for my match against the front runners next week due to yellow card accumulation, this means I have to find some other way to score, because right now he's scored half of my teams league goals. It also means that in the Cup match next week against Norge, Mats is going to be getting in that match to get him a game that week.

Re: Week 9
I jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead against frontrunners Siena AC, in their stadium no less. Then came the dreaded 'PCFC lowered the tempo in order to concentrate on their defensive efforts' message. I hate that, especially in the friggin 14th minute of a game. Siena AC scored in the 33rd and 47th minute to tie the match. It was a nailbiter from that point forward. The 2-2 score held, and I stole a point away from home. With 17 points, I'm still 2 points out of 1st place but a full 3 points away from 3rd. I can live with that for now.
Man I wish I had pulled of the upset.

Re: Week 9
4-2 loss at home. It was one of those matches where I maybe might've been able to win but I'd rather worry about other games. Only two matches before the game that may very well decide whether I finish fourth or fifth in the league.

Won 4-0 away. I'm so bored with these bots. I may not stay up, but I want to promote up to V so I might actually have to think about what my lineup should be.

Re: Week 9
I managed a 4-2 home win, which was a relief after a month of no league wins.
Similar to Lone Star I was up 2 early, they pulled it back to 2-2 by half time.
Fortunately I got two more in the second half that put me in third on GD. Three of us are level on points, which shows you how tight our series is.

Re: Week 9
Got my first win of the season!
3-2 over the 2nd place team in my series. I'm thinking he must have used PIC, because there's no way I should have won... but I'll take it just the same.

Congrats. And take the wins any way you can get them.

I have no doubts about your team being able to survive Div V.
Anyway...
Christmas came a little early for me this year. Both the series leader and the Div IV relegee(who played the tough team I played last week) were losing last night. Ended up with the series leader tying (and now only 3pts ahead of me) and the Div IV relegee barely winning. Due to their close matches and my blowout, I now lead the series in goal differential again and that gives me 2nd place again.
Next week, I get another 'easy' team while the Div IV relegee hosts the series leader. I expect to be on top of the leaderboard next week.

Re: Week 9
I had a ho-hum 4 - 0 win away, notable mainly for lack of killer injuries (a +2 was suffered by my second-best winger) and lack of cards. I wasn't expecting any trouble with the opponent, and indeed the only difficulty I had was failure to convert on more scoring chances -- it was 1 - 0 until well into the second half.
The big news for me (again) was elsewhere in the series. The then-#2, at whom I play in two weeks, suffered a shocking draw (80 - 55 in ratings) against the #5 team in the league, dropping them to five points behind me. I'm now four points clear of the second place team, so I'll need to suffer an upset to fail to win the series. It looks like promotion could be touchy, though... I'd like to avoid a qualifier, but I'm not sure about that aforementioned match at Flashotcite in two weeks.
