Villa v Spurs [R]
Aston Villa
Sorensen , Cruz , Mellberg , Ridgewell , Samuel , Solano , McCann , Hitzlsperger , Barry , Angel , Crouch
Subs: Delaney , Dublin , Postma , Allback , Whittingham
Tottenham
Keller , Kelly , Richards , Gardner , Taricco , Davies , Redknapp , Brown , Keane , Kanoute , Defoe
Subs: Bunjevcevic , Doherty , Mabizela , Ricketts , Hirschfeld
Johnsen out. And what are Spurs doing playing Keane, Kanoute and Defoe?
I can see a high scoring game here, despite both teams being nervous. I`ll go 4-3 to Villa. I can see us conceding today.

Re: Villa v Spurs [R]
The tension of the game seemed to get to the forwards, ours anyway. We should have scored a few more goals, especially with the first coming so early.
I think Ridgewell deserves some praise. For a 19 y/o in his third start in the EPL to help keep out a stong looking attack was a big plus today. When I saw Ronny Johnsen was absent from the team I feared the worst, but Spurs only really threatened our goal a couple of times. They are in a terrible run of form though so we can`t read too much into it.
Angel looks to be back to match sharpness after 3 weeks out, which is important if we`re to win the last two games. He couldn`t really miss his goal though. Unmarked, one yard out with the entire goal at his mercy.
Liverpool won today so we stayed fourth for just one hour. Hopefully Wolves and Birmingham will get draws next week against NU and Liverpool.
