winger or keeper?
two of my most weakest members of my starting 11 are my right winger and my keeper. my keeper could probably hold his own at high form but id rather have one that doesnt depened so much on it. same thing with my winger. my question is, i have 300 grand in the bank and in a couple weeks (i figure ill have around 500,000 or around there) ill be looking to strengthen one of these positions, which one should i make my priority?

Re: winger or keeper?
initially I'd have to say keeper. But it depends on how your defense ratings stack up against the rest of your series. Keepers will improve all three of your defensive zones. A winger won't have nearly as much impact as a keeper as a result.
But, keep in mind, the HT game engine seems to favor offense more than defense. So you MIGHT be better off with a nice winger.
Are both your wingers poor? If so, why only go for one? Why not go for two wingers that are better than what you have now. If you will only have one good winger, just make sure you mix up the side of the formation he plays on so that your opponents can't easily anticipate his position.

Re: winger or keeper?
I would have to say keeper. It would have the greatest overall effect on your team. But then again, a comparable winger would be loads cheaper. I personally would lean toward the keeper. Were you planning on spending the whole wad on a keeper? I don't know what you have now, but I found a solid keeper (Bustos-Gisbert) for 183K. Not sure what an excellent would go for.

right now my keeper is passable but used to pull 3 stars with good form. i was planning to spend it all on one thing but ill see what happens.

Re: winger or keeper?
I woudl normally say go with keeper.
Let me know if you want a winger. I have a 21 yr Swedish solid winger who is just about to get passable playmaking.

i'd generally say keeper too. I think keeper's the most undervalued position in lower series in hattrick. But if you have a superior midfield in your series, winger is also a good choice.
