use this thread to post your starting line up from the game this week if you are competing in the BS Cup, here's my starting 11
Bobo - Ouellette, Cockrell, Hamel - Eriz, Gamez, Lewis, Nybo, Luke - Öhrsjö, MacCabe.
Hamel should be the only first teamer appearing in the Cup game this week.

Re: Week 8
suck my magnificent attack ratings division six.
I was nervous as hell about this game. (17297406 in case anyone is interested) I had to leave at half time and I was all tied up 2-2. I'm glad to see that my boys knicked it with two unanswered goals in the last twenty minutes.
I actually pulled a weak midfield, despite the injury to one of my solid IM's, I guess because I normalled the match and I was at home.
I've got one game left this season that will be any challenge at all. I won 5-4 at his house early in the year. Hopefully my midfield will be 100 percent when that happens.

Week 8 victory but fell to 3rd
Well, I won a close one again. Was down 1-0 at halftime in my almost sold out 30k arena (just a few seats shy). Got two second half goals to win 2-1. The win keeps me in securely in the front pack, but I dropped to 3rd on goal differential (by 1 goal) behind the Div IV relegated team. All the favorites (in my mind anyway) won this week.
I lost my best wingback for a couple of weeks. Everybody looks to be healthy by the time I face the #1 team. I should 'cruise' for the next three games. But you never know what cards the HT-game engine will deal you. I nearly lost this game.
The good news is that I pulled two victories out of my matchup with this team (currently #4). Even better is that they can surprise any of the remaining favorites. I expect them to finish secure in fourth place at the end of the season.
I still need to win all my games and have the #1 to slip up twice to have a shot at first place.
My top goal scorer is now three off of the pace for the scoring title. He had to sit out due to too many yellow cards.

Re: Week 8
The big news is not Brays' closer-than-it-should-have-been 2 - 0 win over Grand Rapids in a derby (PICing with an A-/B+ team, but leading in every rating).
The big news is that the #2 team lost at the #3 team by a 2 - 1 score, so it will be possible for me to win the series even if I lose at Flashotcite (the #2 team) in week 11! With my TS slowly inching up, I'm no longer even certain I'll MOTS that match.
The bad news is, the crowd didn't meet my expectations. We only saw 25 000 at the park this week, which puts a bit of a dent in my plans to have earned enough crowd revenue to buy an outstanding middie prior to the week 11 match.

Re: Week 8
Lost 4-0 to the #2 team in my series. Thank god I don't have t play him again this year.
That's three straight losses for me (one upset, 2 I was just simply outclassed in), but this loss was encouraging b/c my midfield was as strong as his (more on this later), and I actually pulled decent defense ratings, which means my keeper training is starting to bear fruit.
Unfortunately, this los puts me back in a relegation game spot. One of the teams has completely given up (he logs in 2-3 times a week, yet only plays a 2-5-2), and the crappy team that upset me has just played him twice in a row. I should be out of danger next week, but it would be really really nice to finish this season 4th. The other crappy thing is that I didn't double check my lineup, so I didn't notice that I had one to many IMs (wanted to play a 4-3-3, instead played a "strategically incomprehensible " 4-4-2). So much for training this week (and one of my keepers was going to pop to solid too....).
My lineup this week was:
Lair--Larios, Nicolaides, Cherry, Rutherford - Antunes, Crowell, Wilson, Na Ranong - Brady, Buck
