Football chant
Hey everyone, greetings from the US (I know, lame MLS). I'm just curious to know which team has the longest drought of championships and when was their last? I'm curious because I have an idea for a chant that you can use at football games (Mind if I say "football" instead of "soccer" with you guys?). If it's already been done, I'm sorry to keep ya. You just shout out the year of that team's last championship and clap five times, just like how you shout out "Let's go <team name>! (CLAP... CLAP... CLAP-CLAP-CLAP!)." But you only chant this at the opposing team.
Here in America, there's a baseball team who hasn't won a championship since 1918! Fans of this other team would chant out "NINE-TEEN-EIGHT-TEEN (CLAP... CLAP... CLAP-CLAP-CLAP)" to the team with the long drought. I'm thinking maybe I should bring this to football. I couldn't do the MLS because nothing's really happened in that league. You have a much better history of football than we Americans. This is just out of my curiosity. What do you think?

Re: Football chant
We could clap for every year since spurs last won the league, but...there's a fair chance it would start a fire.

Funny how Arsenal fans are on this board spouting off about championship droughts, most likely because they weren't around before 1998 when Arsenal couldn't even get a whif of a division 1 championship unless Chapman was around, which was indeed in black and white.

Champions in 1970/71, 1988/89, 1990/91 , All closer to the Lee Chapman era, than the Herbert Chapman era.
I think a little homework is in order.
