Jockeying for Playoff Position
I may be wrong but I fugure it is down to 8 teams for the 4 playoff positions, lets look at the run in for each team in current position order
Sunderland - @Wigan,Crewe,Scum,@Burnley (1,3,3,0) 71+7=78pts
Town - Forest,@Sheff Utd,Cardiff (3,1,3) 71+7=78pts
Wigan - Sunderland,@Forest,West Ham (1,1,3) 69+5=74pts
West Ham - @Stoke,Watford,@Wigan (1,3,0) 67+4=71pts
Palace - @Crewe,Walsall,@Coventry (0,3,3) 67+6=73pts
Millwall - Reading,@Derby,Bradford (1,1,3) 66+5=71pts
Sheff Utd- @Walsall,Town,@Preston(1,1,1) 66+3=69pts
Reading - @Millwall,west Brom,@Watford(1,1,0) 64+2=66pts
By my reckoning the FA Cup will cost Millwall a playoff spot, Sheff Utd and Reading have gone the wrong way for some time and will fall away as well. Wigan vs West Ham the last day of the season will be a huge game, West Ham is a very hard team to figure but I just have a feeling they will come up short.
Right now we are 2 goals behind Sunderland on goal difference and they will probably find a way to finish ahead of us.
If right they playoffs will be
Sunderland vs Palace
Town vs Wigan
Wigan is the team I would like to play least in a two leg semi.
Would be interested in any thoughts...

Re: Jockeying for Playoff Position
Well...it's going to be tight finishing up the season. ITFC still has a good shot of getting promoted. Good Luck

Re: Jockeying for Playoff Position
Even if ITFC do not make the play offs, JR has done a superb job this season. I remember early this season ITFC were at the bottom of the table, fans and the press were looking for a place to put the blame, and suddenly JR got ITFC rolling and here you are at the end of the season with the possiblity of going to the EPL. Kudos, good luck.
