Dynamo loan 3 to Austin Aztex

According to the Dynamo, goalkeeper Tyler Deric, defender Mike Chabala and midfielder Erik Ustruck will be joining the Austin Aztex on loan.
Deric, who previously joined the Aztex in a backup role, will be with the USL team in the same capacity through July 18.
Chabala and Ustruck will join the Aztex later this week for matches against Carolina (Friday) and Rochester (Sunday).
The Dynamo loaned defender Julius James to the Minnesota Thunder last week through June 28.
Of course, the Dynamo reserve the right to recall them at any time.

It also means I have to root against them on June 30th if they defeat the El Paso Patriots tonight in the US Open Cup.:(

I very much doubt they would play for Austin vs. Hou in a possible USOC matchup - I would expect all the loaned players to be called in for that game, considering Hou at LA two days earlier. (Well, like Dom needed an excuse to play a reserve side in the USOC! ;) )

HaHa! Dom didn't send them there for playing time. Purely for scouting purposes. And maybe an occasional rough tackle in practice. :D

He's just looking to get out of the first round this time.

Odd that James went to Minnesota and the others all went to Austin. Is Austin like our feeder club now? Chabala should step right in at LB IMO.

Chewie looked good when he played for us (aside from that red card).

Who will Stuart Holden hangout with now!? This is the real reason we traded for BB last year, right?

James was loaned out before the injury bug hit the Aztex. Within the past week they took multiple loses with their starters ranging from 2-3 weeks to nearly the end of the season type injuries.

Last season the Aztex worked out a deal to get players on loan from the Aztex. The connection with the clubs in based on friendships between the coaches, owners and FO staff.

The Aztex are now a bit thin due to injuries. However, I'm still not sure any of the three Dynamo will see much of the field. None would be expected to play on 6/30. Are we sure they are not cup tied to the Dynamo?

How would they be cup tied if the Dynamo haven't played a USOC game yet? Of course, I agree...no way that the Dynamo players play against us on June 30th. That just doesn't happen for all sorts of reasons.

It seems that way doesn't it and if that's the case, as supports how hard should we be on them when we play em?

Maybe Houston is the feeder club for Austin, it is yet to be determined. So far all Houston has managed is a tie during a friendly game.

Fans with an inferiority complex? Austin has indeed arrived as a USL team.

Yeah, all of Austin's players would be starting in MLS if it weren't for the anti-American sentiment among MLS clubs

Especially since Austin's top players, owner, and coach are non-American.

Don't you turn in an eligible roster at some point before you play your first game?
